This book is well written in an easy-to-understand method. It's like you can actually hear the writer speaking the words!

 

The daily Scripture is short, as is the explanation. I like this, as it gives time to reflect on what is being said. With all the busyness of society, we sometimes don't reflect enough because it's so time consuming. This book gives the reader an opportunity to use his/her time wisely, while ingesting the Scripture each day.

Besides being easy to read, this devotional is concise so that it does not monopolize the reader's time. You will find yourself nodding in agreement with Dr. Smith's observations that have a solid Biblical foundation. I would recommend this devotion to anyone who is serious about scheduling a daily appointment with God.

I'm a profound Christian and can boldly say that and have been so since I was saved at the age of 14. Being Christian we often need biblical inspirations to help with our daily walk and Dr. Allen Smith book "One Day At A Time" has provided those little scriptures that helps us with that. This daily devotional is fantastic. Whether you want to follow along every day to get a little inspiration to start your day or read all of Rev. Allen Smiths thoughts at once, either way you will be inspired and moved by his words.

It is very cool to read the daily verse and then to hear Rev. Allen Smith's thought on the verse. It can change your entire perspective of the verse and how you might have interrupted it before.
